MANTECH seeks a motivated, career-focused Project Manager to join our team in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you will lead project execution, coordinate diverse teams, and ensure timely delivery of mission objectives. You will help resolve issues, manage resources and schedules, and support customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to achieve success.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring project objectives, technical requirements, and business goals are achieved on schedule and within scope.
- Analyze project risks, issues, and technical challenges, applying sound judgment and problem-solving skills to develop effective solutions and maintain project momentum.
- Manage and maintain comprehensive project plans, tracking schedules, resources, budgets, dependencies, risks, and deliverables while providing accurate status reporting to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, infrastructure personnel, vendors, and business stakeholders, to resolve resource conflicts, technical issues, and scheduling challenges.
- Monitor and report on project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring compliance with organizational standards, service level agreements (SLAs), and customer expectations.
- Provide local travel support between customer buildings or temporary assignment to alternate locations for special projects.
- Work an 8-hours shift within part of a coverage team operating between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with 8+ years of experience or an Associate’s Degree with 6+ years of experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience.
