Work Schedule: Sunday thru Thursday (7:00pm - 5:30am)

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our third shift team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in welding or weld inspection, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to accurately use a tape measure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with welders, supervisors, and quality assurance teams to ensure our products meet high standards of quality and safety. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")

• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections on welds to ensure structural and aesthetic standards.
• Interpret welding blueprints, schematics, and job specifications.
• Use tape measures and other inspection tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Document inspection results and report non-conformities or defects.
• Work with welders and supervisors to address quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in the welding and quality departments.
• Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Successfully passes background check, preemployment drug screening, an any preemployment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
• Daily in-person, predictable attendance.
• Ability to read tape measurements.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years welding or weld inspection experience.
• Additional welding or quality certifications are a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment not required, but highly desirable.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient with tape measures and standard inspection tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Comfortable working overnight hours and in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer skills.
• Capable of working in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Organization and 6S skills.
