Home Health Aide (HHA) - Assisted Living / Memory Care

HHA Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting and dressing
• Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful leisure pursuits
• Assist residents with ambulation, transfers and exercise
• Assist in medication administration under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse
• Record data in the Electronic Medication Administration Record (EMAR) and report any changes of resident status to RN
• Perform light homemaking duties such as cleaning, cooking, etc.

HHA QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience preferred
• Active on the MN CNA Registry OR documentation of having taken the CNA 75-hour course required
• Must be at least 18 years old
