Senior Project Manager Technical Solutions (f/m/d)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead and drive the development of our projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery and closure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, QA’s and hardware to ensure successful product development aligned with the company’s strategic vision. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Relevant degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred. CSM, PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, ideally within the HMI-Software, Automotive / manufacturing, or tech sectors.
• Strong understanding of HMI development, software engineering, or similar technical fields. Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Unity, Unreal Engine, QT is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), especially in the context of embedded systems, product development and HMI solutions. Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to foresee project challenges and address them proactively while managing competing priorities, resolving conflict, and making critical decisions under pressure.
• You are fluent in English and German (spoken and written)
• Experience managing products across multiple development teams and organizations is a plus, particularly in the context of distributed or cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies. Adjust plans as necessary based on changing requirements and priorities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and hardware, to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as the main point of contact between clients, internal teams, and senior management. Ensure clear and consistent communication regarding project progress, risks, and changes.
• Proactively identify potential project risks early on and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure proactive problem-solving and conflict resolution to keep the project on track.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively. Track expenditures and ensure financial goals are met.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and align with Incari’s vision and client expectations.
• Lead the team in Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Ensure that projects adhere to Agile principles and practices.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance project performance and efficiency while documenting best practices.
