To help deliver on this mission, we are seeking a Director of Portfolio Marketing to develop a strategy and delivery break-through campaigns that highlight the various ways that Humana and its family of brands are enabling more healthy days for our members. This role is ideal for a strategic marketer who deeply understands effective brand storytelling to deliver results in a fast-paced, and regulated environment.

This position will reside within the Marketing Organization which is part of the broader Enterprise Growth team and will extensively collaborate with the following partners: Line of Business partners, Consumer Insights and Analytics, Lifecycle Marketing, Marketing Operations and Marketing Data and Technology.  As a senior leader in Humana’s Portfolio, Brand and Product Marketing team, you will guide portfolio-level marketing strategy across diverse lines of business.  Your leadership will ensure Humana’s marketing strategies are cohesive, compelling, and deeply connected to the needs of our members—supporting better health outcomes and business growth.

Key Role Functions

  • Lead the development of enterprise-wide marketing strategies across Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and specialty portfolios

  • Oversee integrated campaign planning and execution, ensuring alignment with business goals, member needs, and market dynamics

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Brand, Analytics, Sales, and Compliance to ensure strategies are insight-driven, compliant, and performance-focused

  • Establish strategic frameworks and performance metrics to evaluate portfolio marketing effectiveness, member engagement, and ROI

  • Drive innovation and optimization, identifying opportunities to improve agility, personalization, and competitive differentiation

  • Mentor and lead a team of portfolio strategists, fostering a culture of strategic thinking, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Strategy, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing, portfolio management, or integrated campaign leadership

  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-level marketing initiatives

  • Familiarity with marketing analytics, segmentation, and performance measurement

  • Strong understanding of healthcare markets, member engagement, and competitive positioning

  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or certification in Marketing Strategy, Business Administration, or Healthcare Management

  • Experience in Medicare, Medicaid, or Commercial health plan marketing

  • Background in agile marketing planning or enterprise transformation

  • Experience managing large budgets and vendor relationships
