Job Description Summary

Reporting to the Director, MBACM and collaborating with members of the MBACM senior team, the Senior Associate Director, Strategic Initiatives works on large-scale projects, both internal related to student engagement, employer relations, alumni, data analytics and operations; as well as divisional, to enhance career opportunities for students and alumni and better prepare them for successful careers; establishes strong communication channels with department and divisional colleagues to share content of projects, include relevant team members in decisions; and develop hand-off strategy (when applicable) to ensure a high degree of coordination and shared objectives.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director, MBACM and collaborating with members of the MBACM senior team, the Senior Associate Director, Strategic Initiatives works on large-scale projects, both internal related to student engagement, employer relations, alumni, data analytics and operations; as well as divisional, to enhance career opportunities for students and alumni and better prepare them for successful careers; establishes strong communication channels with department and divisional colleagues to share content of projects, include relevant team members in decisions; and develop hand-off strategy (when applicable) to ensure a high degree of coordination and shared objectives.

As a career advisor, manages industry-based Connected Communities. This includes working with student clubs, alumni, student leaders, Career Fellows, and research centers to support student job searches.  They use various formats such as industry presentations, communications, enterprise insights events, and connectivity platforms to provide information about students’ industries of choice.
