Manager, Medical Laboratory

We are seeking a Manager, Medical Laboratory to join IQVIA Laboratories in Valencia, CA.

As a Manager, Medical Laboratory, you will lead a team of laboratory staff, ensuring the effective administration of laboratory testing in compliance with regulatory standards.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing daily laboratory operations and staff.
• Providing technical leadership and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Participating in budget planning and cost-saving initiatives.
• Driving continuous improvement and quality assurance efforts.
• Counseling, training, and coaching laboratory staff.
• Developing and implementing standard operating procedures.
• Monitoring and analyzing operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• >5 years of experience in a regulated environment.
• >4 years of experience in a regulated laboratory.
• >2 years of line management experience.
• Or other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this role:

• Strong understanding of laboratory operations and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data and drive continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of occupational safety, health rules, and regulations.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $102,000.00 - $170,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
