Position Summary

The administrative Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks in an office enviroment including filing, answering phones, schedule meetings, general office duties.

 

This role will pays an hourly wage of $18.00 to $20.00.

 

Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Also, OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.

About the Venue

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Providence, the RICC is within walking distance to restaurants, hotels, shops, art galleries, night clubs, museums and more. We offer 100,000 square feet of exhibition space, 20,000 square feet of ballroom space, 23 meeting rooms, and 30,000 square feet of pre-function space.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls
  • Organize event files
  • Copy event folders/files
  • Schedule internal meetings for department managers
  • Operate office equipment including office scanner, copy machine, fax machine
  • Other administrative duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent. 
  • 1 year experience in an office support role
  • Demonstrated ability to work with others in a positive manner.
  • Basic understanding of telecommunications, internet services and other event related technologies preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite. Previous use and proficiency with Ungerboeck Event software preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
