About the role

Job Summary: Provides essential, highly specialized client and attorney support regarding all aspects of legal filings and administration.

Work Schedule: Position is a Hybrid role in Irvine, CA and candidate must live within driving distance from the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the ECLIPSE program leads, including the ECLIPSE Program Manager and Law Department core team lead, in driving goals, which include: the legal operational needs for the new contracts center of excellence (CoE); implementation of a new CLM platform globally; and analyze, optimize, roll-out and support alignment of global contract processes; and manage contract template optimization efforts globally.

  • Participate in key ECLIPSE project meetings, CLM requirement workshops, and coordinate with internal and external service partners to drive overall CLM system implementation success.

  • Develop strong business relationships with key stakeholders and implement creative solutions with the focus on simplifying existing processes.

  • Partner with the IT team in supporting the legacy/existing CLM system, including the management of template, approval workflow updates or changes and training support for end users,

  • Develop and maintain the CoE’s clause library, playbooks, training materials, and learning hub to align with evolving business needs.

  • Support training of business partners on the current contracting system and related contract processes.

  • Support the development of key contracts management metrics and perform analytics, as needed.

  • Support attorneys and paralegals with the review, redlining, and negotiation of a broad range of transactional contracts, as needed.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required and minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts management.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in the MS Office Suite, including Excel

  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize projects and tasks appropriately.

  • Good understanding and a strong knowledge of process mapping, project management principles, and software development lifecycle and projects.

  • Strict attention to detail.

  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Ability to be a team player and a trusted business partner.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience working in complex, matrixed and global business environment.

  • Ability to adapt to new technologies.

  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environment.

  • Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Possess a strong understanding of processes and procedures relevant to the subject matter of contracts management.

  • At least 3 years of experience in the areas of contract lifecycle management, legal and contracts operations.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Paralegal or J.D. background or at least 2 years of working in a legal department. 

  • At least 3 years of experience in the areas of contract lifecycle management, legal operations, or other enterprise system implementations is preferred.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $86,000 to $121,000 (highly experienced).

The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
