Senior Account ResponsibilitiesPrepare financial statements, statistical Reports and Bank ReconciliationsAnalyze and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracyPrepare and post journal entries during month end closePerform balance sheet and budget comparison analysis and explain variancesResponsible for dealership depreciation/fixed assets Responsible for dealership factory payable reconResponsible for deposit reconciliation/postingResponsible for balance sheet account reconciliationResponsible for calculation of sales and use taxResponsible for warranty-payments and credit memosResponsible for AP invoice approvals and verificationAudit sales analysisMaintain and post/apply and verify all monies (i.e. down payments, deposits, credit card slips, refunds and bank wires) on truck sales Process customer refundsProvide daily dealership assistancePerform all other duties as assigned
Senior Account RequirementsA minimum of one year experience in a dealership environment preferredExperience with the automotive sales, service and parts industry a plusAdvanced level of experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookAbility to work well with all levels of team members to ensure customer satisfactionOrganized with a strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desire to provide excellent customer serviceAbility to maintain confidentiality regarding all business and employment issues. Operating all necessary office equipment. A college degree in accounting or a related field is requiredAdditional training in accounting and on computersA valid driver’s license is required
