As a Senior Innovation Manager, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the end-to-end development of skincare product innovations for brands like Compeed, ACO, and Mederma, among others. You will be part of an innovative, rapidly growing international company that is deeply committed to consumer-driven self-care.</p> <p> </p> <p>In this role, you will focus on Medical Device, OTC, and Cosmetics, with a particular emphasis on our OTC and medical device products. Your day-to-day tasks will involve ensuring the successful delivery of our long-term new product development (NPD) pipeline. This will require close collaboration with our Central Marketing team, initiating and leading both internal and external development projects, and actively scouting and evaluating external product concepts.</p> <p> </p> <p>Your work will take place in an international context, involving close cooperation with external partners and suppliers. You'll also collaborate closely with various cross-functional departments within the company, including marketing, packaging, formulation, regulatory, quality, and supply chain.</p> <p> </p> <p>If you are a forward-thinking, driven individual with a passion for innovation in the skincare industry, we invite you to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of self-care.</p> <h2>Scope of the Role</h2> <p>Some of your primary Responsibilities will be:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the inception of New Product Development (NPD) projects, with emphasis on front end innovation, defining and developing.</li> <li>Identify, assess, and validate external NPD opportunities, fostering close collaboration with external development partners, business development teams, and technology scouting experts.</li> <li>Provide technical expertise in the creation and review of various technical documents, including but not limited to SOPs, design, technical files, vendor qualifications, and more.</li> <li>Play a key role in supporting regulatory applications by contributing scientific and technical documentation essential for compliance.</li> <li>As needed, manage Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) activities relevant to the assigned category.</li> <li>Responsible for managing the budget allocated to innovation within the assigned category.</li> <li>Continuously monitor the market for raw materials, products, formulations, and research-related developments, as well as actively participate in relevant congresses and industry events</li> </ul> <h2>Experience Required</h2> <ul> <li>MSc or PhD in Pharmacy, Science or Engineering, preferable Chemistry or similar</li> <li>Five years’ experience in product development in OTC and/or Medical Devices and/or Cosmetics</li> <li>Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry.</li> <li>Exceptional project management and leadership skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.</li> </ul> <h2>Personal Qualities</h2> <ul> <li>Entrepreneurially minded, creative, curious, forward thinking, innovative</li> <li>Have a scientific approach combined with a commercial mindset</li> <li>Flexible and can-do attitude to manage unexpected situations successfully</li> <li>Ability to own projects and assume responsibility in an independent manner</li> <li>International mindset, with the ability to develop for &amp; interact with many different nationalities and work closely with colleagues abroad</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Hybrid Working Pattern offered - blend of on and off-site work</p> <p><br/> We will offer you an exciting and evolving role in a truly dynamic and international company, where transparency is one of the core values.
