You will be a significant influence on our product roadmap, bringing a technical and strategic perspective. You will work alongside fellow inspired developers in a fast-paced environment using Swift to help shape the future of digital news. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on applications that impact hundreds of thousands of users.</p><p><strong>Position – how you’ll contribute</strong></p><ul><li>Work with a team to design and implement native mobile apps for iOS platforms</li><li>Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable code whether implementing architectural improvements, user-facing features, or fixing defects</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues, problems, and errors encountered across our various platforms</li><li>Analyze and optimize application code for efficiency, reliability and performance</li><li>Work with minimal technical supervision and supplemental engineering support</li><li>Embrace a highly collaborative team that rewards quality code and effective communication • Stay current with the latest development best practices</li><li>Lead design and code reviews</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Expectations – the experience you need</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to work within the ET time zone is required.</li><li>Experience working with video-on-demand and/or linear video playback</li><li>Demonstrated ability in developing complex, high-traffic iOS applications</li><li>A minimum of 5 years hands-on professional development experience with Swift</li><li>Experience with and solid understanding of multithreaded programming and API layer programming</li><li>Experience working on a significant consumer app that is currently available in marketplace</li><li>Demonstrated experience developing applications leveraging XML/JSON</li><li> Solid understanding of data models and data access architecture and optimization</li><li>Solid understanding of multi-tier web architectures, and OO design patterns and concepts</li><li>Solid understanding of server-side software, scalability, performance, and reliability</li><li>Solid understanding of HTTP and REST-style web services</li><li>Experience with unit test frameworks and continuous integration systems</li><li>Ability to collaborate in a small, productive development team as well as ability to work independently</li><li>Expert in software engineering best practices</li><li>Experience with agile software development practice, scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc</li></ul><p><strong>Additional skills – the edge you have</strong></p><ul><li>Experience using GraphQL</li><li>Published one or more applications available on Apple App Store</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Our offer – professional development, personal growth  </strong></p><ul><li>Flexible employment and remote work  </li><li>International projects with leading global clients </li><li>Non-corporate atmosphere </li><li>Internal &amp; external training </li><li>Private healthcare and insurance  </li><li>Multisport card </li></ul>
