Onsite Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/FNP/AGNP)

Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is seeking a part time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/FNP/AGNP) licensed in Idaho to work direct care within our contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Behavioral Health Solution's team of mental health treatment professionals specialize in providing comprehensive behavioral health services for adults and geriatrics in a variety of settings. Service areas incorporate: McCall

Responsibilities:

• Provide face to face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Job Types: Part-time, 1099 Independent Contractor or W2 Option Available
1 day per week

Requirements

• Licensed in Idaho by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Idaho Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances.
• Possession of an X-Wavier for Suboxone treatment (Optional).
• Must possess up to date vaccinations or provide adequate exemptions.
• 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.
• 1 year experience within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

Skills

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).
• Excellent written communication.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, organized and functions under stressful situations.
• Bilingual is a plus!

Pay:

• Rates range between $54 to $71 per billable hour.
• W2 and Independent Contractor options available.
• Compensation determined based on pay model preferred, experience and licensure.
