Pratt & Whitney’s Operations Human Resources organization has an immediate opportunity for a talented Associate Director, Human Resources Partner & HR Site Lead.
This will be an onsite position based at our Pratt & Whitney site in North Berwick, Maine.
What You Will Do:
Pratt & Whitney’s Operations Human Resources organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team.
We are seeking a high energy, Human Resources Partner to drive key human resources initiatives and promote an inspiring culture with a mix of both exempt and non-exempt employees. If you are ready for a challenge, then we encourage you to apply.
The incumbent will partner with business leaders across the 2,000+ employee site in North Berwick, Maine and will be responsible for the overall site people strategy, organizational health, employee relations, succession planning, and HR functional team development; and the employee experience, including talent development initiatives.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work as a positive disruptor while balancing competing priorities and influencing stakeholders.
- Link business objectives with the HR lifecycle, and facilitate change management.
- Build and maintain strong, positive employee relations with a non-union workforce of nearly 1,800 persons.
- Provide HR lifecycle expertise to achieve business objectives, including coaching and guiding leaders, organization health, succession planning, talent management, change management, leader and manager effectiveness, employee retention, and compensation planning.
- Oversee and ensure proper staffing level, infuse talent into the organization and improve bench strength.
- Counsel executives, and senior managers to optimize organization effectiveness, inclusive management, team and talent development, and culture and employee engagement trends and actions.
- Ensure meeting Human Resources priorities on Culture, Wellbeing, Transformation and Talent through guiding and partnering with business leaders and stakeholders to support success in the current year and in the future.
- Lead a team of HR Partners directly, while engaging our key HR Communities of Expertise (CoE) leaders to support and drive people strategy.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Psychology or a related field and 12+ years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience; OR and advanced degree and at least 10+ years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience.
- Minimum of 1 year as HR partner supporting senior leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to link business objectives with the HR lifecycle, and facilitate change management.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites.

- Demonstrated ability to evaluate people, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment, and effectively interface at all levels of the organization.
