AnaVation is seeking strong candidates for a Senior Pricing Analyst position, supporting and leading new business proposal pricing requests, and current contract pricing activities. The Senior Pricing Analyst will work with internal business departments to lead pricing reviews and respond to moderate to complex customer pricing requests in a timely and accurate manner. The Senior Pricing Analyst will report to the Contracts Director and will be responsible for compliant cost/price proposal volume development, including proposal pricing, completing Government pricing templates, and written cost narratives. This exciting opportunity is based in Chantilly, VA and will be expected to work independently with management oversight.
The Pricing Analyst will have a significant impact on the award of new business and program growth and will require a self-motivated, extremely detail oriented, and energetic individual with the ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams, and program accounts. Successful candidate must have advanced proficient excel skills, a full understanding of government solicitation requirements and instructions, the ability to handle multiple pricing tasks in a rapid-pace deadline driven environment. Experience in pricing CPFF, T&M, FFP, and LH contracts is preferred.
Responsibilities include:· Independently define all pre-solicitation and RFQ/RFP/ current contract pricing template and cost volume /narrative requirements· Review RFP/RFQ documentation, identify and develop questions based on the solicitation that impact Pricing compliance and strategy· Assist in the development of pricing strategies and risk identification during capture and proposal phases· Utilize Salary Surveys and Job Categories and prepare internal pricing files to complete proposal pricing in compliance with AnaVation’s pricing processes and solicitation requirements.· Daily interactions with cross-functional capture / business development teams (Finance, Contracts, HR) and all levels of Management· Coordinates with management to determine pricing structure, competitive analysis and performing Price to Win research activity· Communicate pricing requirements, collect basis of estimate (BOE) data from technical points of contact, present cost/price volume status· Prepare cost/price volume reviews adhering to the pricing schedule· Prepare Subcontractor / teaming pricing requests and templates and analyze Subcontractor responses· Validate accuracy of subcontractor pricing· Review and resolution of pricing and/or cost volume actions, including cross volume accuracy and completeness· Perform business and management tasks in the area of Pricing with appropriate oversight and supervision· Initiate and build internal files for peer reviews and pricing management reviews· Complete customer pricing templates; create customer submittal files in accordance with the solicitation requirements· Maintain current system of auditable pricing files and proposal artifacts· Organize, file, and maintain pricing artifacts for proposal files for auditable compliance· Collaborate with other business departments and work on special projects on an as needed basis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline
  • 5 years of proven experience pricing different types of contracts for the government, gained while working in the government contracting industry
  • Experience creating pricing models and preparing financial analysis to provide pricing decision support to management throughout the proposal life cycle
  • Experience developing compliant large Government Cost/Price volumes, including Cost Narratives
  • Experience with the FAR/DFARS and ability to read and understand Government contracts and schedules
  • Strong proficiency an advanced working knowledge of MS Excel building formulas (macros and automation, data validation, queries, power pivots, data management and organization) and efficient in Word.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Must have superior attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be reliable, work independently and able to work flexible hours when dictated by proposal deadlines
  • Hybrid schedule may be available with 1-2 days per week in office and must be readily available to work on-site with proposal teams in Chantilly, VA, during all proposal efforts.
