Job summary
Summary
The VP Data Loss Prevention will review electronic communications to determine if violations of policy, regulation and/or law have occurred in the use of the data. The successful candidate will conduct research by utilizing surveillance tools to analyze potential breaches and working with management to gauge the severity of breaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform surveillance of electronic communications to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations;
- Escalate exceptions to business and Compliance management along with supporting documentation;
- Prepare metrics for monthly and quarterly reporting
- Provide communications reporting for the supervisory dashboard
- Moderate the monthly Data Protection Committee meeting including the agenda and minutes
- Maintain an audit trail of all investigations;
- Work to improve efficiency of rule sets through observation and testing;
- Conduct targeted investigations in connection with special requests from management or related to issues uncovered in daily surveillance;
- Support the onboarding of new surveillance technologies and Perform UAT testing as required.
- Maintenance and development of procedures related to electronic communications monitoring
