The Laboratory Research Assistant, a Part-Time role, will carry out data cleaning, data analysis, programming, literature review, manuscript writing and research presentations.
Work Interactions
Reports to Dr. Shweta Bansal who leads the Bansal Research Group in the Department of Biology, and interact with other members of the research team. This position supports the research mission of Georgetown University.
Requirements and Qualifications
At least 1 year experience with infectious disease epidemiology or disease ecology
At least 1 year experience in Python programming
At least 1 year of undergraduate education in Biology or a related field

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$17.92 - $26.80Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
