The PositionUplight is creating a new category of energy. We make software that manages energy resources in homes and businesses—including things like smart thermostats, electric vehicles, solar panels, storage batteries, heat pumps, and even people’s behavior—to generate, shift, or save energy to balance the grid, making it more efficient and reliable. This creates clean energy capacity that can be used by the power grid instead of burning more fossil fuels. Our solutions accelerate the transition to clean energy and save money for energy customers.We are seeking an Operations Contractor to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and for the planet.How will you make an impact:
- Use Uplight’s databases and a suite of querying tools resolve customer applications
- Manage incoming volume of applications with research and data entry skills.
- Apply critical thinking and basic data collection skills to make data-driven decisions and judgment calls
- Work amongst a cohort of part-time contractors that will maintain ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with the Product Operations team at Uplight
- Self-directed work with flexible working hours, expected to meet weekly quotas.
- Attention to detail and a close focus on quality, specifically with regards to transcripting data.
- Ability to research and transcribe data accurately and efficiently.
- Excitement to learn how to use querying and database tools at Uplight.
- A self-starter, self-motivated mentality and ability to work with minimal guidance.
- Accountability for meeting quotas and deadlines - time management & effective communication with Manager.
- Willingness and excitement to problem solve.
