About the role
Framestore New York is looking for the next generation of Design talent with a passion for motion graphics to take part in a 3-month paid internship working in our award winning Design studio.
Motion Graphics interns should have a Graphic Design, Illustration, or CG Animation background, with a focus on creating compelling, original, design forward imagery for the film, online, and broadcast industries.
Our internship program is focused on developing the candidates skills in a production environment. You will be provided a mentor who will provide instruction and regular reviews of your work. Work will consist of style frame creation, titles design, show packages, animation (2D, 3D, or cel), TVCs and branding.
The internship will start on June 5, 2023 and finish on August 25, 2023.
Deadline for applications is end of day (PST) April 7, 2023.

Internships will be conducted in a hybrid model. Please make sure you have internet access for your remote days and that you are within a commutable distance to the New York studio for onsite days.

Requirements
- Adobe Creative Cloud software (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere)
- Additional 3D software knowledge preferred, such as C4D, and Maya.
- Other software packages such as Nuke, Houdini, and Unity also of interest
- A bonus to have Digital photography, cell animation and Illustration work in your portfolio
- Great communication skills are required, as is a willingness to learn and collaborate in a fast paced team, delivering high-quality content for all mediums.
- A degree in Design and/or animation with a focus on graphics imagery is preferred but not required.
