Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

THE WORK
As Project & Planning Manager for Sikorsky’s ERP/MRP transformation, you’ll own cost, schedule, and technical performance of system‑improvement initiatives. Manage and prioritize the ERP/MRP backlog, sequencing high‑impact changes and coordinating resources across Programs, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT. Act as the primary integrator, aligning stakeholders, conducting go/no‑go assessments for SAP configuration changes, and escalating unresolved risks. Maintain a forward‑looking roadmap that balances short‑term optimizations with long‑term design requirements. Translate system‑change impacts into clear business‑focused cost and schedule language for senior leadership, ensuring executive alignment. Drive measurable improvements in material availability, schedule adherence, supply‑signal accuracy, and planning‑data quality.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline; Master’s degree (MBA, MS in Engineering, etc.) is highly desirable.
 Minimum 8 years of experience in program management, supply chain, operations, finance, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Desired Skills

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Skill in developing and executing strategic plans that align with business objectives.
Ability to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively.
Proven track record of managing complex programs, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $178500.00 - $331500.00
