As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor residential and shelter locations, conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations within residential and shelter locations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential and shelter facilities and their perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disruptions.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter undesirable behavior and provide reassurance to residents, visitors, and staff.
- Document and report incidents, observations, and any suspicious activity according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Assist residents, visitors, and staff by providing directions or information and responding to security-related inquiries.
- Support site operations by monitoring entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access.

- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
