Position: Commercial Management, Commercial Coordinator Analyst

The Position

The Commercial Coordinator Analyst will report to the Head of Commercial Management in the Trading & Asset Services Business Unit and is a member of the Commercial Management team.  This role will support the Commercial Coordinator Director and will be responsible for a broad range of activities to ensure the business objectives of the team are attained.    The primary focus of the Commercial Coordinator Analyst will be to drive the coordination and strategy for complex deals and will also help drive key initiatives that support the growth and scale of the business, including but not limited to automation and acceleration, data and analysis initiatives and integration activities.  Being effective in this role requires developing strong trusted relationships and partnerships with various teams including Functional teams, Sales, and Solution Management teams located around the globe.  This position requires the ability to quickly identify the problem statement, effectively navigate the organization, providing logical, innovative, and creative solutions to challenges.    

Job Responsibilities

Coordination and Project Management

  • Manage and coordinate across cross functional teams and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) on bespoke complex deals to bring alignment on timelines, product road map and costing.
  • Engage with Commercial Team to understand key questions to present to SMEs and drive streamlining of requests.
  • Leverage financial and business acumen to understand root cause and navigate a matrixed organization to drive improved outcomes.
  • Thoughtfully synthesize and present analysis and costing recommendations for complex deals.
  • Support integration of acquisitions as it relates to adoption of commercial model.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and collaboratively work with Solution Management, Finance, Commercial Management, and functional teams including CIO, Development, Professional Services and Client Services to drive desired outcomes.

Communication

  • Effectively and clearly communicate with Commercial Team, Sales, and Functions through emails and during meetings.
  • Clearly lay out the elements that drive costings and speak to rationale and drivers.
  • Demonstrate a passion for understanding the business and commercial team’s objectives, whilst balancing with FIS financial and strategic objectives.  


Required Skills

  • +4 years of experience in fintech industry, finance, product, strategy, pricing, program management or consulting
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling and problem-solving skills with ability to understanding drivers and impacts.
  • Fast learner with intellectual capacity to function in a highly complex global organization.
  • Highly organized, proactive, tenacious, and detail oriented.
  • Ability to exercise sound business judgment in decision making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate across all levels of technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Strong sense of integrity and ethics.


FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $77,100.00 - $125,680.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
