Job Overview

As a Tax Associate, you would be applying your education to support the client service team through tax preparation and research.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather information and work within tax software to prepare returns for review
• Mentor and train Intern level staff
• Maintain personal networks, and participate in civic, charitable, and professional organizations 

Qualifications

Education/Licensing

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or other relevant field from an accredited university required
• Active pursuit of CPA certification required
• Master in Tax or Accounting preferred

Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Prior tax or accounting internship preferred
• Ability to prepare basic tax returns
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Client service mentality
• Teamwork oriented with a willingness to grow, a passion for living, and desire to go above and beyond

Software

• Microsoft Office Suite experience
