Maintenance Engineer | Melrose

CentraCare is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Melrose! In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and the physical structures of our facility. You will ensure the safety and functionality of the environment by performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of various systems. Additionally, you will assist in the upkeep of the grounds, contributing to a clean and safe atmosphere for staff and patients alike. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. 

• Schedule
  • Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks 
  • Monday – Friday various shifts between 6:30 am – 5:00 pm 
  • Rotating weekends | 8-hour shift on Saturday & 2-hour shift on Sunday 
  • Coverage areas include Melrose and Albany 
     
• Pay and Benefits
  • Starting pay begins at $21.01 per hour and increases with experience
    • Pay range: $21.01 - $31.52 per hour

• Qualifications 
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Special Boiler certification with the Sate of MN labor and industry within 6 months of employment 
  • A valid MN driver's license and a driving record in good standing 
  • Tech college education in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrician or Carpentry is preferred
