Nemours is seeking a Specialist, Enterprise Internal Communications (hybrid) to join our Nemours Children’s Health team in Wilmington, DE.
The Enterprise Internal Communications Specialist, Delaware Valley, is responsible for supporting and partnering with the Enterprise Internal Communications team to advance the Nemours Children’s Health, Delaware Valley strategy. Reporting to the Delaware Valley Manager of Enterprise Internal Communications. This is a hybrid position.
This position is responsible for developing collaborative relationships with business partners in the Delaware Valley to develop and implement comprehensive, integrated internal marketing and communications to support the achievement of the Nemours strategy. Though based in the Delaware Valley, the specialist will have enterprise responsibilities. The specialist will work collaboratively with the Public Relations, social media, Marketing, Brand, Creative and Digital teams among others.
Duties include
• Work closely with senior leaders and their teams to develop and deliver messages that impact our associates and how we deliver patient care.
• Work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement strategic communications that reflect the voice of our associates.
• Support the development and growth of an effective two-way communication strategy throughout the enterprise with our associate app, Nemours Now. Identify relevant communications and engagement opportunities and evaluate their effectiveness through analytics.
• Write and edit a wide range of content in various formats for various platforms.
• Oversee and/or support Town Hall meetings and other enterprise-wide associate events or initiatives. This includes assisting leaders and business partners in determining content, developing invitations and creating/deploying presentations. Additionally, managing logistical elements with multimedia/partner teams to deliver successful and informative events, and coordinating post-event communication as needed.
Essential Functions
• Manage and contribute to the editorial content of the weekly enterprisewide newsletter, local weekly newsletter(s) and supporting elements of the organization’s associate communications app and intranet, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information distributed.
• Develop presentations, FAQs, leader talking points, and messages to associates for key internal projects, processes/policies or initiatives.
• Support the Enterprise Communications team with emergency management needs, including, but not limited to, Incident Command System response and other critical Incident/crisis duties.
• Join periodic on-call rotation to ensure support of Nemours Children’s operational emergencies (approximately once every 4-5 weeks).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking skills and able to execute with speed, competence and confidence.
• Able to use discretion when presented with sensitive or confidential issues.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, project management and business partner relation skills with the ability to independently manage projects and deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
Three to five years of experience
