The Director of Business Operations is a strategic leader within the Global Wizards Commercial organization, driving collaboration, operational excellence, and business outcomes on a global scale. This role requires exceptional cross-group coordination, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities to align diverse teams around shared objectives. You will play a critical role in developing rhythm of the business, creating compelling presentations, and delivering comprehensive business review materials that span delivery, operations, and business teams. Balancing leadership, influence, and individual contributions, you will guide strategic initiatives, foster innovation, and uphold Wizards’ commitment to a diverse and inclusive culture.
What You'll Do:

Define, manage, and continually improve the Leadership Team’s (LT) rhythm of business, ensuring seamless cross-department communication of objectives.

Identify and lead strategic growth initiatives, from uncovering new opportunities to executing key projects through successful implementation.

Collaborate with Regional and North American leaders to enhance efficiency, address challenges, and develop actionable plans.

Guide long-term organizational structure improvements and lead change implementation in partnership with department heads.

Drive continuous improvements in operational systems, practices, and workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity.

Maintain a strong pulse on organizational needs, employee engagement, and satisfaction, acting as a key liaison between staff, managers, and leadership.

Partner with cross-functional teams to develop annual growth plans, including headcount and program spend allocations.

Work with Finance and Studios to oversee monthly and quarterly fiscal planning, including budgets and forecasts.

Collaborate with HR on workforce management, including headcount planning and hiring completion.

Plan, organize, and facilitate weekly LT meetings, off-sites, org-wide all-hands, and regular strategy planning sessions.

Represent the VP in strategic and operational meetings, extending the leader’s reach and driving progress toward business priorities.
What You'll Bring:

8+ years in business or executive management, including program management, operations, strategy, or finance. Experience organizing and leading multiple teams is essential, with a preference for marketing organization experience.

Proven ability to influence outcomes across teams, fostering collaboration and alignment toward shared goals.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across boundaries and provide open, honest feedback.

Strong organizational agility and demonstrated success in leading change management efforts.

Adept at prioritizing in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while maintaining focus and composure.

Skilled in balancing strategic oversight with the ability to dive into tactical execution when needed.

Enthusiastic, self-motivated, resourceful, and driven to achieve results.

A high tolerance for ambiguity, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing environment.

Committed to fostering long-term collaborative partnerships that drive positive outcomes across the organization.

Gaming or entertainment industry experience is a plus.
Compensation Range (USD):
Starting: $172,300
Ending: $289,800
