About the role

Job Description Summary

As a Remote Project Manager on our Southeast Patient Care Solutions Project Management team, you'll own the project management and implementation process for GE HealthCare Patient Care Solutions products, including Monitoring Solutions, Perioperative, and Maternal Infant Care products. This position involves sales order review, project planning and documentation, resource coordination, and issue resolution.

You will be the owner of these projects and the coordinator of activity, driving and supporting projects primarily through MS Teams meetings and conference calls. This home-based role requires working within a dedicated GE Healthcare market, with some potential overnight travel for internal training throughout the year.

While this is a remote role preference will be given to qualified candidates located within the Southeastern United States.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Acting as the primary liaison between GEHC and customer project teams with onsite support from Service & Sales.
  • Identify, document and communicate GEHC and customer responsibilities and deliverables as defined in the sales contract.
  • Creation, maintenance, and routing of formal project implementation timeline with collaboration between the customer, GEHC, and contract resources.
  • Maintaining accurate project milestone date accuracy creating visible and predictable project data for key business metrics and revenue forecasting.
  • Regular tracking and communication of implementation progress including project kick-off, regular status updates, and project closure. This includes tracking of equipment delivery, installation, and testing.
  • Identification, escalation and resolution of issues, which might affect customer satisfaction and GEHC operational targets.
  • Manage the implementation team during clinical “GoLive” of the equipment.
  • Participation in process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and at least 2 years of project management experience, or an Associates degree and at least 5 years of Project Management experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management where deadlines were met on schedule or ahead of schedule (e.g., construction, healthcare IT, equipment installations experience). 

  • Must have a valid US driver’s license. 

Desired Characteristics

  • Demonstrated experience communicating effectively and facilitating meetings via teleconference or in person with multi-functional groups.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities to meet scheduled project completion dates and customer expectations.
  • Demonstrate communicating with diverse work partners internal and external to GE and our customers.
  • Experience communicating complex technical issues in a customer-friendly manner.
  • Experience with large-scale project management where deadlines are met on or ahead of schedule; construction, healthcare IT or equipment installations experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience working remotely with external customers in a clinical environment.
  • Formal coursework in project management and/or current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Knowledge/experience with the healthcare industry and GEHC products.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, with overnight stays when needed.
  • Ability to meet customer’s vendor credentialing requirements.
