Certified EV Charging Technician

 Pay:  $125,000.00 - $155,000.00 + bonus eligible

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.

Shift:  Monday – Friday 8:00 – 5:30 pm 

Position Summary: 

This role is critical to the day-to-day operations and management of 480V 3phase DC fast chargers, including but not limited to electrical functions testing, preventive maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and troubleshooting EV charging assets and electrical components - keeping the charging assets operational and running smoothly. This position will require occasional on-call periods, including weekends. All members are expected to work together in a safe, positive, respectful, and professional manner.

This position will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Some travel will be required.

Job Descriptions 

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on charging assets.
• Troubleshoot charging error codes and failures
• Verify material requirements and develop repair plan 
• Ensure all work is performed according to electrical code and is completed in a timely manner.
• Provide daily updates to the EV Charging Program Lead regarding charger status and repair progress
• Work closely with Charger OEM and Service Partners as needed.
• Manage Spare Parts Inventory
• Perform EV charging audits as required.
• Must be able to perform job tasks with no supervision. Adhere to safety policy as well as rules and regulations.
• Ability to travel overnight, both regionally and out of state, based on business needs. Travel up to 25% anticipated.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Able to withstand varying degrees of temperature typical in an outdoor environment.
• Able to climb and work off ladders for extended periods of time.
