Job Description

In this compelling leadership position, you will lead efforts to build, develop, or design functionality for Collateral Underwriter and associated products as well as oversee the ongoing implementation, enhancement, or maintenance of existing products.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Director of Product Management role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Define product strategy that is in alignment with business objectives and monitor product success and adoption.
  • Direct the development of the design strategy for new and/or existing products.
  • Direct the team on the implementation process for new and/or existing products.
  • Drive implementation for product improvements.
  • Directs a team responsible for the product lifecycle and ongoing maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive a product management mindset through informal and formal trainings and enhancing product lifecycle discipline.

 

 

Qualifications


THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences:

  • At least 8 years of relevant product leadership experience
  • Experience in the full lifecycle of product management/development including designing products, developing product roadmaps, translating design requirements, prototyping, demand management, etc.
  • Experience identifying and selecting strategic options, and identifying resources to meet the defined objectives
  • Expertise in launching new market facing products and features
  • Expertise and demonstrated success in digital transformation and delivering solutions that are readily scalable and re-usable, improving time to market
  • Understanding of and experience in designing products which can rapidly respond to changes in regulatory needs and industry mandates
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and techniques to improve product delivery
  • Expertise and comfort Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • Experience leading dynamic and cross-functional teams
  • Experience and expertise managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, development teams and others
  • Experience advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, and benchmarking.

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred 
  • Understanding of the mortgage life cycle
  • Experience with collateral risk management and appraisal products 
  • Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs, and processes
  • Experience analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
  • Experience gathering information and ideas and presenting to an audience that is engaging and easy to understand
  • Experience in risk assessment and management, including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessment and remediating risk 
  • Experience using and leveraging JIRA to manage demand, capacity, prioritization
  • MS Office Suite – skilled in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Skilled in Tableau, Power BI and other reporting tools
