The Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS) is a progressive business regulatory state agency dedicated to the mission of protecting and serving Oregon's consumers and workers while supporting a positive business climate. The department administers state laws and rules governing workers' compensation, occupational safety and health, financial institutions, insurance companies and building codes. The department has consumer protection and education programs, offices, and ombuds to help consumers, injured workers, and businesses.
This position is with the Workers' Compensation Division (WCD). WCD administers, regulates, and enforces the laws and administrative rules governing the Oregon workers' compensation system.
This is a management service position and is not represented by a union.

This position is eligible to telework on a part-time basis once the incumbent has gained the proficiency to perform work independently. The incumbent is required to report to the office every Thursday and at least one other day per week.
Here’s what you will do:
As the Resource and Technology Manager, your duties will include:
Manage and direct all activities of the day-to-day operations of the Resource and Technology Unit 15-person team at the Workers’ Compensation Division which includes technology, administrative functions, communications, and training.
Act as the information resource manager which includes working effectively and collaboratively with all partners and ensuring appropriate use of technology resources.
Act as the Enabling Technology Manger for the division.
Oversight of purchasing needs for the division.
Managing all facility, inventory, and ergonomic needs for the Workers’ Compensation Division.
