Description
Maps Credit Union seeks an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our hardworking team. As an HR Generalist, you will use your juggling skills to assist with recruitment, onboarding, benefits, HRIS administration, and HR Business Partner support, all while ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies. Key responsibilities of the HR Generalist include, but are not limited to:
- Provide exceptional customer service for candidates, hiring managers, and employees.
- Be a source of knowledge for questions candidates and employees may have. Establish excellent relationships and rapport to promote these interactions.
- Work in partnership with the HR Business Partners to create, implement, and monitor people and talent-related strategies and projects.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and help develop recruitment strategies to find the best candidates. Help with prescreening, interviewing, hiring decisions, and job offers.
- Run great recruitments and find great people!
- Help create and run an immersive onboarding program that focuses on sharing who Maps is and what we believe in.
- Provide administrative support to the team such as working in the HRIS system, assisting with payroll and benefits, running reports, and whatever else comes along.
- Maintain knowledge of company policies and employment-related federal, state, and local laws, statutes, and regulations; research, recommend, and implement processes, techniques, and documentation that minimize legal exposure.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in recruiting, employee relations, payroll and benefits are required.
- Financial industry experience and/or professional HR designations preferred.
- Must possess a valid Oregon driver’s license.
- Must be bondable.
Exempt pay range: $60,000 - $68,000 per year.
Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (2 days onsite, 3 remote)
