Between our passion for a bragworthy customer experience and quality shippers, we aim to create a quick and streamlined process for all our customers' freight needs.Fairmont Logistics is looking for a dynamic and relationship-oriented Enterprise Account Manager to be fully embedded within a key customer's office. In this strategic, on-site role, you will serve as the primary liaison between Fairmont Logistics and the client, overseeing day-to-day operations, strengthening the partnership, and uncovering opportunities to deliver additional value.
Although based at the client’s location, you will remain closely connected to Fairmont corporate leadership and collaborate with internal teams to implement high-impact logistics solutions. This position is ideal for a logistics professional who thrives at the intersection of relationship-building and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Relationship Building (Customer-Embedded Role)- Serve as the primary, on-site representative of Fairmont Logistics within the customer’s office, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the customer’s logistics and supply chain teams.
- Develop deep, day-to-day relationships with key customer stakeholders across various departments (Procurement, Operations, Transportation, Finance, etc.), and foster trust and open communication.
- Function as the voice of the customer within Fairmont Logistics — providing real-time feedback and insights into corporate leadership, ensuring the customer’s needs are well understood and prioritized.
- Collaborate closely with Fairmont’s internal teams (Operations, Carrier Management, Finance, and Sales Leadership) while maintaining clear alignment with corporate account strategy and management directives.
- Conduct regular business reviews, performance discussions, and value-add conversations with both the customer and Fairmont headquarters to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction, improve service delivery, and expand Fairmont’s value proposition within the account.
- Maintain a professional presence within the customer environment while consistently representing Fairmont’s values, standards, and strategic interests.
- Ensure that all activity, opportunities, and account status updates are effectively communicated back to corporate management and accurately recorded in CRM and internal systems.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, accountability, and professionalism while remaining connected to and supported by Fairmont’s leadership and broader Account Management team.
- Collaborate with the customer’s operations and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement and resolve issues proactively.
- Monitor shipment performance, carrier compliance, and service metrics; take ownership of corrective actions where needed.
- Provide logistics expertise and recommendations to optimize transportation strategies and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Coordinate with Fairmont’s internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and accurate execution of customer expectations.
- Identify and support opportunities for account growth, including upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
- Partner with corporate Sales and Leadership to develop and execute account growth strategies.
- Support contract renewals and negotiations in alignment with Fairmont’s sales leadership.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records and activity tracking in CRM systems.
- Prepare and present periodic reports on account health, service performance, and pipeline opportunities.
- Support strategic planning and forecasting processes for the account.
