Typical Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Agile delivery cycles by engaging in requirements review, backlog refinement, sprint testing, release validation, and production monitoring.
  • Design, maintain, and execute test cases (manual and automated) to validate functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing across multiple environments (Test, Pre-Prod, Prod, Blue/Green), ensuring coverage of critical application paths.
  • Apply BDD principles to write clear acceptance criteria, user stories, and test scenarios, ensuring requirements are well-defined, feasible, and testable.

  • Act as liaison with stakeholders by gathering and prioritizing requirements, preparing client-facing artifacts (status updates, demos, slide decks), and aligning program goals with technical delivery.
  • Partner with QA to ensure requirements are testable and have full coverage; partner with Devs to ensure feasibility and technical clarity.
  • Develop and maintain process flows, context diagrams, and documentation that communicate scope and align team understanding.
  • Prepare stakeholder-facing artifacts (status updates, release notes, slide decks, and demos) to communicate progress and support decision-making.
  • Stay current with QA trends, tools, and federal compliance standards to proactively enhance testing practices.
