We are looking for Software Engineers to join our Software Engineering team in El Segundo, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. 

What You Will Do

The Raytheon Software Engineering organization is seeking enthusiastic and highly capable software engineers in programs developing real time embedded software in the Gen 4 Tactical Airborne Radar area.  The ideal candidate will employ Raytheon software development processes.

Apply technical principles, theories, and concepts.  Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts.

Analyze technical problems and provide innovative solutions

Work effectively and contribute during all phases of the software development life-cycle

Participate in development efforts of real-time embedded software

Drive towards meeting technical goals

Communicate effectively with team members and leaders across multiple disciplines and functional areas

Contribute significantly to team, program and customer meetings and reviews

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).

This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

Developing embedded software utilizing C/C++, ADA, and related tools and applications

Experience Developing and integrating real time embedded software

Knowledge in the phases of the software development life-cycle

Knowledge of Software Development Processes

The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.  U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Hardware / software integration experience

Knowledge and Experience with Radar Technology

Experience with developing and integrating software for Radar systems

Experience with Agile and Continuous Integration methodologies
