Senior Database Specialist (f/m/d)

<p>As a Senior Database Specialist at Axpo Iberia SL, you will be the key resource coordinating various database security projects and enhancing our security posture. Collaborating with CISO, TISO, and application security specialists, you will ensure the integrity and security of our database systems.</p><h3>What you will do:</h3><ul> <li>Act as the single point of contact for database security topics within the Database Services Team.</li> <li>Improve the security posture of database systems and ensure compliance with security policies.</li> <li>Operate, manage, and support on-premise and cloud-based Microsoft SQL Server solutions (Azure).</li> <li>Participate in internal/external audits and ensure compliance with audit findings.</li> <li>Collaborate with Operations, Development, and Business teams to identify and resolve performance issues.</li> <li>Document and share knowledge to enhance the technical understanding of the Operations and Development teams.</li> </ul><h3>What you bring &amp; who you are:</h3><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.</li> <li>5-7+ years of senior-level DBA experience supporting production applications on Microsoft SQL Server.</li> <li>Demonstrable experience in defining and implementing best practice security policies across on-premise and Azure SQL Server platforms.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex subjects effectively.</li> <li>Independence, initiative, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.</li> <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.</li> </ul><h3>About the team:</h3><p>You will be part of a dynamic Database Services Team focused on enhancing the security and performance of database systems.
