Senior HRIS Analyst – Oracle Cloud Payroll

The Sr. People Technology Analyst will be responsible for supporting the HR Systems used by RB Global and continually look for ways to improve our processes, data, policies, and standards. They will need to be able to capture, analyze, and report key HR trends to drive strategic decision-making in our people processes. The role requires strong communication skills, to keep the People team informed on status of queries, issues, and concerns. The analyst must have very strong HR system implementation and project management skills, to be able to interface with executives, management, and employees on a variety of subjects and handle confidential and complex assignments with considerable discretion, judgment, and tact
- Support Oracle Cloud HCM applications, focusing on Payroll
- Configure and maintain Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll components, including Fast Formulas, Elements, Balances, Payroll Definitions, and Eligibility Profiles.
- Troubleshoot payroll-related issues and work with Oracle support for resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OTBI and BIP reports.
- Build, run, and schedule custom reports as needed.
- Configure application, evaluate impacts, and support releases, patches, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Create and update configuration documents for enhancements and bug fixes.
- Collaborate with business owners/ vendors/IT to analyze and prioritize requirements, following the JIRA/CAB process for development, testing and deployment.
- Actively participate in team discussions and projects across different time zones.
- Collect, clean, and analyze HR and Payroll data to support people-related metrics and decision-making.
- Providing training and coaching to end users as needed
- Set a positive example through attitude and performance, be willing to perform additional tasks as assigned
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in implementing and/or supporting Oracle Cloud HCM applications.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience specifically supporting Oracle Cloud Payroll for North America.
- Proficient in key Oracle tools and technologies, including Fast Formulas, HCM Data Loader (HDL), BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, and mass data uploads.
- Understanding of US and Canada payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with proven experience working with reporting and analytics tools.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and global teams.
