The Solution Consulting (pre-sales) organization is a vital and well-respected part of the sales eco-system at ServiceNow that is expected to deliver spectacular interactions and experiences with customers, with a focus on performance and continuous improvement.

Our Solution Consulting organization is currently seeking a Manager to help lead our Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) team. SPM is one of the critical solutions ServiceNow offers that helps organizations plan and execute their enterprise business strategy. This role’s primary responsibility will be to manage the Solution Consultants (SCs) and administrative functions associated with achieving quota for the SPM East, Commercial and LATAM segments.

The ideal Manager will drive results and outcomes in areas including but not limited to:

· Management rigor, i.e., proactively and accurately conveying status and health of opportunities, engaging with and partnering throughout planning cycles

· Performance management, e.g., ensuring individual contributors are offered robust and timely feedback that aligns with HR guidelines

· Partnering with Marketing, sales, and other workflow leadership teams to generate and mature pipeline

· Demonstrating strong ‘interlock’ skills, i.e., proactively and productively communicating with field and specialist counterparts to help further SPM objectives and exemplify ServiceNow’s “win as a team” core value

Qualifications

To be successful in this role

The ideal Manager candidate will be a strong influencer and doer, with proven experience driving results and delivering value. This candidate will boast technical depth and have strong influencing and presentation skills which will be leveraged to help secure technical wins for customers and to generate & mature pipeline. An ideal candidate will also enjoy collaborating and is comfortable with a remote working arrangement that requires domestic travel on occasion. The ideal Manager candidate will also have:

· Prior experience with – or show strong potential for – personnel management (to include actively and successfully managing escalations, resolving resource conflicts, facilitating the performance management lifecycle)

· Demonstrated success in managing a book of business (e.g., securing the technical win, proactively capturing engagements in the CRM solutions, articulating path to achieving quota)

· Strong communication skills (e.g., appropriate tone used, share information in a timely fashion, proactive in nature, tailored to your audience’s background / function and level)

· Experience successfully articulating the value of the SPM suite of products

· Healthy working relationship with the SPM BU or the ability to quickly foster one

· The willingness and ability to work East Coast hours on a daily basis
