Position Overview

The Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist will accurately and efficiently process monetary transactions for loans on the Jack Henry system. 

Essential Job Functions

• Process day to day monetary and maintenance tasks to loans
• Review daily reports and report any exceptions to department manager
• Review and balance Loan Servicing General Ledger Accounts
• Assist in preparation of incoming demands for payoffs
• Perform monthly certifications
• ACH and AFT setup
• Process monetary functions for payoffs and paydowns
• Process demands and reconveyances
• Reconcile FASB daily and all related Loan Servicing General Ledger Accounts
• Process end of day by 4 p.m. daily
• Maintain Posted Transaction Records
• Board greenstar loans. Provide back up to documentation sp as needed
• Facilitate excellent customer service for internal and external customers by facilitating rapid turnover
• Cross train in other areas of loan servicing
• Comply with all Anti-Money Laundering Laws and Regulations
• Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements

• 1-2 years loan servicing experience or similar experience
• High school graduate required/college degree preferred
• Familiarity with compliance and lending practices
• Operating knowledge of any type of Core Servicing System
• The ability to function in a team environment and manage time effectively
• Flexibility and a willingness to work within changing priorities

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is in regular communication, is required to use various tools or objects, and have the mobility to move about the office. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
