PEOPLE & CULTURE (P&C) HRIS Data Coordinator
Rocket Lab is seeking a detailed-oriented People and Culture (HRIS) Data Coordinator to play a key role in entering, managing, and reconciling data within our Human Resources Information Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering personnel information, ensuring data consistency, and supporting overall P&C data integrity initiatives. Additionally, this role will support various P&C administrative tasks related to onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management.
WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO: The role’s responsibilities
Data Reconciliation:

- Actively reconcile data between multiple HR systems to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies by conducting data audits and coordinating with relevant teams.
Data Entry and Employee Changes:
-
- Enter and update employee information into HR databases with a high level of accuracy.
- Process employee changes, such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers in the HRIS systems.
Onboarding and Offboarding:

- Support new hire preparations which include set-up, orientation, new hire paperwork collection, new hire merchandise, and preparing the electronic personnel file.
- Prep termination paperwork and manage Active/Terminated employee data.
Document Management:

- Maintain record-keeping and upload documents into HRIS systems.
- Perform audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Confidentiality and Compliance:

- Handle sensitive employee information with the utmost confidentiality and integrity.
- Ensure adherence to data protection and privacy regulations.
Administrative Tasks:

- Use office software for word processing, spreadsheets, and creating or updating presentations, under the supervision of a manager.
- Generate routine and ad-hoc reports for People and Culture and management teams.
Other Duties:

- Support the team in various P&C projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources data coordination, data entry, or a similar role or equivalent experience obtained through bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Proficiency with HRIS and Payroll systems (e.g., Workday, Paylocity, ADP, UKG or equivalent).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
