Johnson & Johnson is hiring a DevOps Engineer for the Engineering Productivity Team in Santa Clara, CA. (2 open positions)

This role will help improve engineering efficiency by supporting build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and other core parts of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the software development lifecycle through CI/CD pipeline development

  • Advance and improve build and general support infrastructure

  • Develop provisioning and deployment strategies

  • Support AWS cloud infrastructure

  • Work with engineering teams to support their business requirements

  • Support monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions across CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and software delivery systems

  • Build and support engineering metrics pipelines, dashboards, and data reporting workflows to improve visibility into system health and developer productivity

  • Evaluate and enable AI based tools, LLM driven workflows, and automation opportunities within software development and DevOps environments

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years of experience in DevOps or related field required

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline support and development using Jenkins and/or Gitlab

  • Experience with cloud and containerization technologies such as AWS and Docker.

  • Experience with Python and Bash

  • Experience with code repository management, code merge, and code quality checks

  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, CloudWatch, or similar tools

  • Experience building or supporting engineering metrics pipelines, dashboards, and data reporting workflows

  • Familiarity with AI tools, LLM based workflows, and automation use cases in software development or DevOps environments

Preferred:

  • Experience with QNX, Yocto, and Linux preferred

  • Experience working in medical devices preferred

  • Experience with CMake preferred

  • Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform preferred

  • Experience with Artifactory and SonarQube, preferred

  • Experience supporting AI or ML workloads, data pipelines, or related infrastructure is a plus
