<h1><b><b>THE ROLE &amp; THE TEAM</b></b></h1><p><span>The Strategic Logistics PMO team is integral to facilitating and executing Fulfilment’s strategic priorities at Zalando. As a </span><b>Senior Program/ Project Manager (all genders)</b><span> within the Business Development pillar, you will drive mid-to highly-complex projects and programmes, playing also a pivotal role in exploring new opportunities for scalable growth. Your collaboration with stakeholders both within and outside the Logistics Organisation will be crucial as you work to unlock growth potential for Zalando. Your mandate will include identifying, analysing, and supporting the development of new Logistics capabilities and offerings that are built to last and drive long-term success.</span></p><p></p><h1><b><b>WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED</b></b></h1><ul><li><p><span>Project/Programme Leadership: Set up, drive, and execute cross-functional projects and programs from inception to completion. Ensure seamless execution of strategic priorities by working closely with senior management across different Business Units, Product teams, Operations, and Commercial stakeholders</span></p></li><li><p><span>Logistics Expertise: Display in-depth knowledge and ownership of the logistics landscape and its capability portfolio. This includes overarching understanding of the logistics value chain, incl. specific Knowledge WH processes, transport, tech capabilities is of benefit.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strategic Planning: Design comprehensive strategies that align with organisational goals and objectives. Your insights will help shape the future direction of our logistics capabilities</span></p></li><li><p><span>Business Acumen: Understand business challenges and the competitive landscape to identify innovative solutions that address key customer and operational needs in Fulfilment. You use your insights to propose effective strategies, challenge the status quo, and guide leadership in making informed decisions that enhance customer experience and drive operational excellence</span></p></li></ul><p></p><h1><b><b>WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF</b></b></h1><ul><li><p><span>You have an advanced degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, economics, engineering or Logistics.</span></p></li><li><p><span>You bring at least 7 years of experience in project management and/or business development within Logistics/Supply Chain or similar corporate functions. Your background demonstrates relevant professional experience and a track record of success.</span></p></li><li><p><span>You possess excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. German is a plus. </span></p></li><li><p><span>You have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to make informed decisions.</span></p></li><li><p><span>You are comfortable with ambiguity and are a self-starter who can drive initiatives forward with minimal guidance.</span></p></li><li><p><span>You are adept at identifying issues and developing effective solutions.
