About the role
<h3>Company Description</h3><p>Do you have experience with QA/QC procedures and especially with design, specification and Quality Control inspections of pressure parts and components for boiler plants, energy plants and steel structures? If you also have knowledge of the basic functions and processes on energy plants, then you could be our new Quality inspector in Energy Transition. The clients we serve are dominantly in the energy market and the plants are in the area of Biomass, Waste to Energy, Power to X, Carbon Capture, Offshore Sub Stations and Gas infrastructure projects.</p><p>You are a Mechanical, Welding or Material Engineer with knowledge of design approval of pressure part components under PED (preferably also ASME) and preferably have more than 5 years of experience from a similar position. In this position you will primarily work within the following areas: </p><ul><li>Review ITP´s regarding pressure parts and International design Codes.</li><li>Coordination with Authorities e.g., Notified Body and/or Authorized Inspectors.</li><li>Preparation of Standard Quality Requirements.</li><li>QA/QC evaluation and approval of sub-suppliers.</li><li>Review of client tenders & contracts for QA/QC issues.</li><li>Evaluation and approval of Quality Control Plan /Inspection & Test Plan (QCP/ITP).</li><li>Evaluation and approval of personnel, production procedures and final documentation, including WPS / WPQR, NDT, Quality control personnel etc. With respect to the contract, codes, and Client requirements.</li><li>Consultancy regarding pressure part - standards, - laws and directives, - design and manufacturing.</li><li>Maintain high level of know-how in the field of boiler specific metallurgy, welding, PWHT and NDE. </li><li>Responsible for quality control at workshops & site. </li></ul><p>The Construction & QHSE department in Energy Transition is globally responsible for Quality in the projects and delivered quality to our sites in Denmark and abroad.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Experienced QC Inspector with interdisciplinary skills</strong><br/>
You have the correct approach towards quality and holds a B.Sc International Welding Engineer IWE or a International Welding Technologist IWT diploma, with specific experience within inspections of different kinds of pressure vessels, pressure pipe systems, steel structures, manufacturing and construction of equipment both manufactured at suppliers and build up on Construction Sites. You have broad experience from large, complex energy plants. The output of your work and verbal explanations and sketches can easily be understood by others.<br/>

We expect that you are proficient in spoken and written English including technical English and perhaps German. It’s preferred that you have a driver’s license. You have a personal drive, and you will find your way around the organization to find whatever relevant information needed for technical and coordination purpose.</p><p>It is important that you understand the client and that you can priorities between many different tasks. You must be able to work independently, but there will of course be plenty of opportunity to spar with experienced colleagues.</p><p>You will normally be assigned to our office in Poland, but as supervisory tasks take place in many different locations in Europe, you must be prepared to travel to different locations and work with different clients and organizations.</p><p><strong>You will be part of the QHSE team</strong></p><p>The QHSE team, which is part of the Construction & QHSE department, handles supervision and work environment tasks during the execution of Rambøll Energy Transitions projects. The team shall be developed to consists of QC personnel in in Poland, Denmark, and UK - all with solid experience in various areas of quality and HSE management.
