Projects may include new construction and renovation in educational, healthcare, sports, corporate commercial and science and technology.&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO</div> <div> <ul> <li>Perform basic to moderately complex construction drawings and specifications of electrical engineering systems for building construction.&nbsp;</li> <li>Under limited supervision, design lighting, power distribution, communications and/or telecommunication systems for healthcare, education/higher education and commercial clients, including fire alarm systems.</li> <li>Analyze engineering documents and layout systems in regard to components and parts. Research and respond to design issues.</li> <li>Participate in value engineering sessions with Architectural/Engineering team.</li> <li>Apply knowledge of electrical code for the application of building power distribution design and circuiting.</li> <li>Recommend improvements with reference standards and processes to improve quality, coordination, and to streamline production efforts.</li> <li>Assists in the review and markup of shop drawings and submittals.</li> <li>Assists in gathering information to respond to RFI’s and review of change orders in the preparation of construction documents.</li> <li>Conduct job site visits to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress. Site visits frequently require a physical walk-through of site.</li> <li>May perform other related tasks as needed.</li> </ul> </div> <div>HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED</div> <div> <ul> <li>Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering required. Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program preferred.</li> <li>Minimum of 4 years of related experience required.</li> <li>EIT/FE preferred.</li> <li>LEED accreditation preferred.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Able to effectively handle multiple projects.</li> <li>Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit) required.</li> </ul> </div> <div> <div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>For a general overview of our benefits, please visit our careers page at <a href="https://www.cannondesign.com/careers/benefits">https://www.cannondesign.com/careers/benefits</a>&
