Sr. Software Engineer

Overview

T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. seeks a Sr. Software Engineer in Owings Mills, MD to:

• Create and maintain complex technical solutions and a suite of next generation, cloud native applications.
• Responsible for planning and implementing large-scale, enterprise-level distributed applications, supporting complex data infrastructure, and presenting user-friendly reports. 
• Contribute to all phases of project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, solution design, application.

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related quantitative or technical field plus 2+ years of software development experience.
• Requires 2+ years of experience with object-oriented programming in C# or Java, web development technologies, including JavaScript, Angular, RESTful Webservices, database design (in MS SQL Server or Oracle), querying databases with SQL, distributed code repository (Git or Mercurial) and automated CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or Gitlab CI), and Agile development processes. 
• Requires 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services cloud computing services S3, ECS, EC2, Fargate, CloudWatch, CloudFront and Lambda.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to three days a week.
