Duties & Responsibilities
Type of Role: Individual contributor, experienced
Area of Responsibility and Purview: Execute on operational activities to deliver service excellence to Private Wealth Management clients
Role Specific Job Duties:
• Primarily focused on the daily oversight of high volume and/or high-risk tasks and responsibilities
• Senior mentor for other operations associates on the team; regularly provides guidance and feedback on operational best practices
• Point of escalation within the team for resolving time sensitive client inquiries and handing complex client situations
• Works collaboratively with other functions in Private Wealth to resolve complex client related issues, escalations, and special projects
Function Specific Job Duties:
• Serve as a secondary point of contact for internal clients
• Responsible for executing on day-to-day transactions for areas of direct responsibility in operations
• Ensure internal clients have a positive service experience that always exceeds their expectations
• Build and maintain internal relationships to drive continuous improvement of processes
• Leverage Private Wealth technologies to process transactions and deliver on responsibilities
• Understand overall business needs and help identify value-added services and client/associate experiences that Private Wealth can provide
• Review activities within the job scope for sufficient controls to prevent errors, fraud, and omissions
• Ensure adherence to corporate policy, operational policy, and regulatory guidance
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
MINIMUM:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or combination of education and experience that provides and equivalent background
• 5+ years of applicable experience within Financial Services
PREFERRED:
• Demonstrated operations experience within a wealth management institution
• Knowledge of Personal Trust, Custody, and Investment Management service offerings and account types MINIMUM:

Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
• Proficiency in UMB custody and clearing platforms such as SEI and Fidelity Wealthscape PREFERRED:
Job Skills:
• Working knowledge of complex account types
• Demonstrated experience with a wide range of client situations and inquiries
• General knowledge of compliance rules and regulations within wealth management
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with eMoney client portal and financial planning software
• Proficiency in Workday, Peoplesoft, Archer, Skillport and Hyperion
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM software • Smart, intellectual, and business savvy

Compensation Range:
$57,760.00 - $124,170.00The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
