We are Amazon Issue Management, providing software platforms, web services and web apps that are used by more than 150,000 unique internal users every day. We own the core software applications and services that Amazon and AWS use to collaborate on, monitor, engage, and manage all of software events, agile deliveries, projects, programs, and business processes across the entire company.

You will be responsible for being the product leader for Amazon's critical ticketing product and vision. In this position you will partner with other product managers, UX designers, engineering, and other internal partners. A successful candidate will have an established background with strong technical ability, excellent project management skills, great communication skills and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.


Key job responsibilities
The product vision leader we are looking for will bring proven experience building, managing and mentoring product teams. In this role, you will:

* Leading with vision and change to bring new or evolve existing innovations for Amazon Ticketing and associated services.
* Owning, iterating on and aligning stakeholders on key working backwards artifacts (PRFAQs, BRDs) and team's roadmap
* Collaborating with technical (SDM, SDEs, FEE), non-technical partners (UX, QA, BizOps), and global business leaders to engage customers while balancing business share of voice through novel, relevant and fresh experiences.
* Teaming up with other PMs and leaders to create product alignment and enable new product opportunities (creating reusable APIs and enablers for other teams to pursue customer value).
* Drive long-term change across Amazon with Senior Leadership and stakeholders.

Amazon Issue Management builds the in-house software services, and applications that Amazon uses to manage tickets, tasks and projects. Our applications are among the top critical business apps used by more than 150,000 unique internal users every day across Amazon and AWS to collaborate on, monitor and manage all software events, agile deliveries, projects, programs, and business processes across the entire company. Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience technical product management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
