Responsible for supporting the Loan Officers as needed in connection with consumer, commercial, Oil & gas and real estate loan activity. Maintain financial and compliant loan documentation for loan officers. Verify all credit files are up to date according to bank requirements. Assist in maintaining exceptions to loan policy.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for staying up to date on and complying with all applicable banking laws and regulations as well as CNB policies and procedures.
Assist in originating, processing, signing and booking of loans.
Prepare and maintain compliance documentation for all loans.
Provide requested information and communicate with Credit Analysts to assist in preparation of loan packages for presentation to ILC and DLC.
Maintain files by obtaining financial statements, accounts receivable listings, proof of insurance coverage, tax statements & other required items in credit & collateral files to keep them current and up-to date.
Process paid out loans.
Process withdrawals and denials.
Assist customers by answering their questions and contact the proper department required to assist them with all banking needs.
Pull credit reports, loan worksheets and check sheets.
Assist in processing release of liens for real estate, consumer, commercial or oil & gas loans when needed.
Prepare outgoing wire documents and cashier's checks as needed by customers.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Work cooperatively with others.
Work overtime as needed.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.
QualificationsSkills and Abilities Required
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities within strict timelines.
General knowledge of banking and the loan process.
Ability to move large sums of money with accuracy and confidence.
Excellent communication skills to assist customers in a profession and confidential manner.
Above average computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and conscientious proactive approach to delivering high quality results in a fast paced environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to varied and added responsibilities.
In depth knowledge of banking software
Certifications/Education and Experience
Basic knowledge of oil and gas language
Familiarity with legal documentation
Knowledge of loan policy and compliance requirements
Working Conditions
Indoor, in an office environment, with a typical 40-hour workweek
Considerable effort and eyestrain from continuous computer use.
Physical Requirements
Occasionally move office equipment, and files weighing 10+ pounds.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
Ability to use auditory senses for answering telephone and hearing alarms.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time to process work.
