About the role

Responsibilities

As part of the National Accounts team, you will work diligently behind the scenes as well as on the front lines with new and existing accounts. As a Sr. Account Specialist, you serve as the conduit between an account and Ash Brokerage’s sales and operations teams. For new accounts, you will make sure the red carpet is rolled out. For an existing account, you are there to step in if something does not go as intended but also to be proactive and ensuring account success:  To be successful, you will:

  • Work in a collaborative team environment that nurtures, motivates, participates, and drives positive behavior.
  • Continuously look for ways to expedite and improve our processes while maintaining excellent service.
  • Be responsible for new account onboarding, rollout, and continuous success with the accounts.
  • Maintaining/updating resource sites for new and existing accounts.
  • Understanding of reporting hierarchies within accounts.
  • Maintain an understanding of carrier and product restrictions.
  • Work with all operational departments internally at Ash and externally with accounts to understand their needs.
  • Build relationships and partner with Sales team to help engage interaction and support for the Accounts/Agents to enhance their experience with Ash.
  • Serve as point of contact for any escalations related to Contracting, Case Management, Commissions, or any other needs of the agent.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by leadership.

  • Strong Communications skills with Sales/Operations; communication via email, phone, Teams to Account contacts/Agents.
  • Microsoft knowledge highly encouraged– specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power BI.
  • Track record of success in fast-paced customer service environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree with major in business or related field plus two to three years’ experience at Ash Brokerage or BGA/Financial Services equivalent experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Travel may be possible
  • Fort Wayne preferred with ability to work remote if needed.
