Overview
The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) seeks an experienced and organized Office Manager & Administrative Lead to provide administrative and project management support to the Office of the Dean while serving as a lead resource, mentor, and trainer for administrative staff across the College's departments. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for Dean's Office operations, manage a wide range of administrative duties requiring confidentiality, sound judgment, and independent reasoning, and serve as the go-to resource for administrative staff throughout CAS on matters of office procedure, systems, and professional development.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Two or more years of office management experience in a higher education or similarly complex organization
- Thorough knowledge of office practices, procedures, and management, and the ability to apply this knowledge to effectively manage daily office operations across multiple departments.
- Experience in training, mentoring, or developing other administrative staff.
- Skill in using electronic and computerized office equipment and systems.
- Experience and ability to plan, organize, and work efficiently, accurately, and independently, while exercising sound judgement.
- Experience exercising discretion with confidential matters and dealing tactfully with others.
- Experience handling numerous and complex assignments simultaneously in an effective and efficient manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Ability to coordinate the efforts of others in accomplishing assigned work objectives, including in a lead capacity without direct supervisory authority
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectivel
