As a Senior Project Manager, you will work for Avis PMO Office, under the auspices of IT Directorate and you will manage resources, schedules, risks, and potential impacts of changes to project stakeholders for various IT Projects. Furthermore, you will communicate with team members both intracompany and from various vendors and major Greek consulting companies to ensure their understanding and their commitment to project tasks, objectives, quality goals and deadlines.

🎯 Your Mission:

• Ensure the successful initiation, planning, execution, controlling and closing of IT Projects under the guidance of the Head of PMO
• Keep constantly updated and complete project documentation including project charter, time-plan, resource utilization levels, correspondence, deployment plans, vendor contracts, purchase orders and progress reports
• Provide timely and accurate project progress reporting to the Head of PMO and to Top management
• Use best-in-class project management methodologies including waterfall and agile according to project specific needs  to achieve project goals on time, while managing risk and changes
• Develop and maintain a baseline project plan and its iterations on MS Project and in-house Project Management Tools
• Conduct project team meetings and communicate the meeting minutes including tasking, issues tracking, action items, and follow-ups between meetings
• Manage vendors and sub-contractors towards project goals

Requirements

🌟 What Spells Success: Your Qualifications

• BSc degree in Computer Science or relative field
• Working experience (preferably in a SW company or Telecom Provider or Banking) of 5-6 years in the areas of IT Project Management or IT Consulting
• Proven record of managing or co-managing or participating in the Project Steering Committee of SW or IT infrastructure or IT Networking Projects
• A PMP, or a PMI-ACP certification or an MSc in Project Management will be considered a plus
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (oral & written)
• Excellent communication, organizational & problem-solving skills
